Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres
Kicking off in San José, Costa Rica in 2022 and taking a hiatus following a ten-date residency at London’s Wembley Stadium to concluded in September 2025, Coldplay’s 225-show Music of the Spheres World Tour has visited in 80 cities across 43 countries to date. The tour took advantage of its Australian leg to bring DiGiCo’s Quantum852 onboard.
Timber Canyon Studios
Veteran engineer, mixer, producer and musician Jim Roberts and his wife and business partner, Marie, have launched their new music production facility, Timber Canyon Studios, in the Laramie Mountains of southeast Wyoming, centred on a 32-channel Solid State Logic Origin analogue mixing console.
Winchester Audio Barn
Less than an hour from London, the Winchester Audio Barn has designed by a world-renowned acoustician, a master technician and a dreamer to be ‘where vintage soul meets modern sound’, and may be the only recording studio in the world to share space within a purpose-built complex that includes an event venue, restaurant/bar, and a classic car showroom and workshop.
Opened in autumn 2025 in the Hampshire countryside, the studio is the work of VDC Trading founder Niall Holden, manufacturer of Van Damme Cable, a industry-leading brand that is widely used in both the music and live worlds.
Linkin Park's From Zero Return
Returning to the world’s stages after a seven-year break from both recording and touring, with a new line-up and an eighth studio album From Zero, Linkin Park are on a stadium-filling rampage with audio design, reinforcement and global production support from Sound Image.
Following the loss of frontman Chester Bennington, members Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Joe Hahn and Dave ‘Phoenix’ Farrell, have been joined by drummer Colin Brittain and co-vocalist Emily Armstrong to continuing the legacy that has won the band millions of fans and seen them perform their biggest concerts to date.
Kraftwerk legacy auction
A collection of 463 items belonging to Florian Schneider are up for auction – in line with his expressed wish that his instruments continue to be used and not become part of a ‘collection’.
Overseen by California-based Julien’s Auction, the says will be held at the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, Tennessee, at 10am on 19 November. It is described by the auction house as ‘the first auction to feature a comprehensive collection of items from [Schneider]’s personal life and career’.
