Brazil’s Laroc Guarujá installs Outline PA

The latest addition to the Laroc Club brand, has quickly earned its place among the most prestigious on the EDM and dance scene alongside its sister venue in Valinhos. The recent installation of an Outline sound system was carried out by Gabisom Audio Equipment, Brazil’s leading production company and one of the largest globally.
The new sound system comprises 40 GTO C-12 line array elements (in eight suspended arrays of five modules each), 12 Mantas 28 front fills, and 32 DBS 18-2 sub-bass enclosures in cardioid mode, all powered by Outline GTA Series amplifiers.
DND Club opens in Maoming

When DND Club opened its doors in China, it wasn’t just its size or the US$7.7m investment behind it that caught people’s attention, it was also the immersive audio experience that set it aside from other clubs on the Maoming nightlife scene. At the core of this remarkable experience is KV2 Audio’s flagship VHD5 system, a high-definition, point-source loudspeaker that sets standards for clarity and impact.
‘Our goal was to create an atmosphere where every beat and every note feels alive,’ says Peter Chen from YueShun Entertainment Company, the club’s investors. ‘We needed a system that could deliver not just volume, but clarity, even at peak energy levels.’
L-Acoustics upgrade at L’Aéronef in Lille

A renowned music venue in Lille, France, L’Aéronef has raised the bar for its concert experience with the installation of an L-Acoustics sound system, installed with the help of Certified Partner SLS.
This upgrade marks a new era for the venue, blending power and precision in a compact package that enhances sound quality and coverage, invigorating shows for everyone. ‘The new sound system significantly improves our audio capabilities,’ reports L’Aéronef Technical Manager, Olivier Wils. ‘The clarity and coverage are impressive, allowing us to offer an enhanced experience for both artists and audiences.’
Green Day Saviors Tour

The year-long tour of the North America and Europe, Green Day’s is a celebration of the band’s classic punk rock that began in Spain in spring 2024. Along for the ride is a ‘punchy and articulate’ d&b audiotechnik GSL PA provided by Eighth Day Sound.
FOH engineer Kevin Lemoine has been working with Green Day since 2000, noting how the band’s concerts have grown while managing to remain intimate in spirit for thie die-hard fans. ‘Our first couple of runs were, compared to today, very scaled down. Clubs, theatres, small arenas and festivals were the norm, but the spirit was the same – a few guys giving it their all and really living and breathing this.
Field recording in Patagonia

Packing eight recorders, eight microphone rigs tailored to various recording needs and session lengths, DIY hydrophones, cameras, SD cards, several Sennheiser HD 280 Pro headphones – and plenty of batteries – adventure field recordist Thomas Rex Beverly recently departed his home in San Antonio, Texas, for Patagonia, to spend three weeks making field recordings.
Having already made around 100 libraries of sounds from the natural world, he was out to expand his offering to major film, TV and video game projects. As Tim Farrell, Emmy winning Sound Designer and Sound Effects Editor Editor (Star Trek: Picard, Antman: Quantumania, Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Walking Dead) notes: ‘Thomas’ unique and well recorded sounds helped me create the sonic universe of Star Trek.’
