Completely redesigned, Hanover’s 96 – Die Akademie youth training centre is now officially open. ‘With this new building, we have the last building block to compete in German professional football,’ says Hannover 96 President, Martin Kind.

Christian Martin, the Technical Director at Hannover 96, oversaw the selection and installation of six Kling & Freitag Gravis 12+ W in each stand and also in the roof structure. The loudspeakers are driven by K&F D 80:4 system amplifiers, which are based on the four-channel amplifiers of the same name from Lab.gruppen. The difference compared with the Lab.gruppen amplifiers is that the K&F models are activated for processing the K&F library. The library contains all modules for the system equalisation of the Kling & Freitag loudspeakers. With the Lake Controller and Dante interface, the K&F system amps cover all requirements.

The In addition to extending the venue’s seating capacity, the former main stand in which the administration rooms of the youth training centre were previously located will be completely gutted and renovated. With €18m invested in this first phase of its refurbishment, the second phase should be completed by July 2017.
