HK Audio’s CoHedra sound reinforcement system was in action at the 2015 Reggae Summer Night festival in Hamm, Germany. Hamm-based events agency Matzka was responsible the festival’s sound, choosing a comprehensive CoHedra rig was for the job.

Now in its 18th year, the outdoor festival was headlined by German reggae superstar Gentleman, who performed with his band in front of a capacity crowd of 3,000. Matzka has settled on a set-up comprising 24 CoHedra CDR 208 mid/high units (12 per side), 20 CoHedra CDR 210 subs, four CoHedra Compact CDR 210 C subs and four CoHedra Compact CDR 108 C mid/high units for close fill.

‘Gentleman and company were able to really get the crowd going despite some genuine Caribbean temperatures on the night,’ says Matzka MD, Achim Matzka. ‘The HK Audio CoHedra system did its job perfectly, providing crystal clear sound reproduction from the front of the stage right to the back of the field.’
