Shure has appointed Nicolas Kyvernitis Electronics Enterprises (NMK) to the role of exclusive distributor for Kuwait and also moved to a dual distribution arrangement in Turkey.

NMK Electronics has been an established Shure distributor for the past 24 years, serving the UAE, Oman, Qatar and Bahrain. The Dubai-based company now assumes responsibility for all Shure-related sales activities in Kuwait, covering all three segments of Shure’s business – MI retail, pro audio and installation.

‘This is a logical extension of our existing relationship with NMK, which already handles much Shure business across the Gulf region’, says Shure MEA General Manager, Freddy Sicko. ‘It’s a pleasure to continue working with NMK and deepening our committment to the company.’

Meanwhile in Turkey, long-term partner Nefan Ticaret Ve Sanayi will continue as a Shure distributor focusing on the retail pro pro audio sectors, while Atempo Proje Taahhut Ses ve Goruntu Sistemleri becomes a new distributor for systems and conferencing. The company has headquarters in Ankara, and offices in Istanbul and Antalya.
