Spanish company Equipson is to acquire the fabrication facilities for truss structures and lifting towers developed by Fantek. The acquisition will bring the experise from Fantek, also a Spanish company, to Equipson, as the company moves to differentiate its activities in distinct areas: audio, lighting and lifters.

With the initiative, Equipson will have a new manufacturing plant and facilities, enabling greater production and commercial capabilities. ‘Our purpose is to strengthen the specialisation of our different brands, expand possibilities and offer a wider range of lifting and structure solutions to the professionals of the audio and lighting sector. Everyone in Equipson share a deep commitment with them,’ says Juan José Vila, CSO of Equipson.

Fantek has pioneered the manufacture and commercialisation of truss structures and lifters since 1986, manufacturing lifting solutions as badged products as well as its own. Equipson was founded in 1995, and is dedicated to creating integral solutions for A/V installers. Its wide range of products make it possible to design and control an audiovisual installation of any size or complexity.
