Gearhouse South Africa has recently purchased a quantity of ARX USB DI digital-to-analogue interfaces from Johannesburg based South African distributor Matrix Sound.

Gearhouse was established in 1991 as a small, Johannesburg-based lighting company, known as Lighting Unlimited. Now with offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban and most recently Accra, Ghana, Gearhouse South Africa is the region’s largest event technical supplier.

Introduced in 2008, the USB DI is an industry standard USB plug-and-play 24-bit high-resolution digital-to-analogue pro audio interface. With full transformer balanced output isolation the USB DI eliminates earth loops/ground hum and other extraneous interaction noise and distortion.
