Allen & Heath has announced a community website – a social network dedicated to users of digital audio mixing systems by bringing together the company’s existing iLive and GLD Blog and Forums, and add resources such as a Rental Network database, system configuration tools and user libraries. The site is fully responsive for use in both desktop and tablet environments. It is also Tapatalk-enabled for its forum and blog navigation on portable devices.
iLive and GLD System Builders support configuration of an iLive or GLD mixing system with specified channel count, options and accessories. User Libraries are available for sharing presets and Show memories, while Learning pages offer interactive access to product-related information, including a software timeline.
‘The aim of the site is to enable users to share experiences, exchange ideas, and learn about all things digital at Allen & Heath – it’s all about being connected,’ says A&H Product Manager, Nicola Beretta. ‘We wanted something that was easily accessible and similar in approach to wide-spread social networks. Users can create a local group, invite friends, send private messages, update their status, comment, and share files, just as you would expect from other popular networking services.’
