Bittner Audio is to licence Audinate’s Dante digital media networking system, and will add Dante-enabled models to is ranges of power amplifiers.

Bittner’s portfolio includes low-impedance and 100V amplifiers, offering from two-to-eight channels. Models range from 200W to 5.6kW/amp or 100W to 2kW/channel. Bittner provides ‘no-compromise audiophile amplifiers’, as well as models with DSP.

‘Bittner amplifiers are used in projects ranging from premier concert halls to airports, power plants, tunnels and stadia, with maximum safety requirements.’ says Managing Director Joachim Schwarz. ‘The most important reason that Bittner chose Dante as a network solution is that it promises and has delivered a standard for products of different brands to communicate over a network.’

Dante integrates media and control for a A/V system over a single IP network, with devices that automatically discover one another and one-click signal routing with user-editable names.
