The Event Services division of the Dubai International Exhibition and Conference Center (DIECC) has taken a batch of HK Audio PR:08A HK Audio loudspeakers from local distributor, Melody House.
DIECC’s Event Services division provides audio, video and lighting services to clients at the centre. The purchase will be used to bolster the equipment supporting new conference rooms.
‘DIECC has been using the PR:O Series since the beginning of the year,’ says Grayson Soares, Operations Manager at Melody House. ‘The feedback has been absolutely positive especially due to their compact size which is essential in the conference market. The fact that there is no compromise on the audio for the size and cost of the PR:O8A makes it a great solution for our customers.’
The HK Audio’s PR:O8A speaker is an 8-inch/1-inch full-range enclosure that claims ‘exceptionally high SPL for its size, while its format and mounting hardware also make it wellsuited fixed installations. The active PR:O 8 A model uses onboard 600W amplification and has a Speakon port that accepts an added passive cab.
