First RSD V1600HD vision mixer enters Gulf

Middle East Roland Professional distributor Nicolas Kyvernitis Electronics Enterprises (NMK) has supplied the first Roland V1600HD vision mixer to Muscat-based rental company Talentz.

‘Talentz aisre one of the most active rental firms in Oman and has invested heavily in new equipment the past few months,’ says NMK Roland Video Specialist, Moswain Antao. ‘The V1600HD allows them to do additional things like Multi-screen with edge blending or Multi-Zoom with such a small footprint making it an impressive solution.’

The V1600HD is a multichannel, multi-format live video switcher that allows easy set-up for mixing video from video sources such as cameras, VTRs, RGB computer feeds, Blu-ray/DVD and high-end SD/HD-SDI video sources.

NMK used a recent roadshow in the Sultanate to introduce a wide range of professional audio and video solutions from Roland to integrators, live performance rental firms and companies involved in the broadcast market.

Its second regional Roland Roadshow, this was held in Doha, Qatar, and attracted A/V professionals from installation companies, live sound rental firms and broadcast integrators. ‘The second installment of our Middle East Roadshow in Doha was met with great attendance during all three sessions during the day,’ Antao. ‘We received great feedback and interest from the market for both our audio and video solutions.’
