Nicolas Kyvernitis Electronics Enterprises (NMK) has supplied Doha-based rental firm Qatar Vision with new wireless microphone systems.
Serving as the Shure distribution hub in the Gulf, NMK agreed a deal that includes receivers and transmitters from the top-of-the-line UHF-R series. More importantly, Qatar Vision has purchased the new UR4D+ receiver, which allows it to cascade up to 10 units without the use of an antenna distribution system.
‘Qatar Vision is one of the most prominent rental firms in Qatar,’ sayd Richie Hiranandani, NMK Marketing Manager. ‘It has already used the new system on a number of high-profile shows within a short span of time. With more than 200 channels of the system in the market, the UHF-R is clearly the industry standard.’
The UHF-R series is the most powerful and flexible wireless system to date from Shure. The system is aimed at the high pressure and extreme conditions of any large-scale touring or installation environment, in both operation and performance. The set-up may accommodate up to 108 systems for the most elaborate productions.
