Merging Technologies has struck distribution deals for its professional product range with Nordic Pro Audio for the Danish territories and AV Marketing Finland as importer for that country.

Nordic Pro Audio has a portfolio of compatible audio products, and an established marketing and support infrastructure. Product Specialist for Live and Studio, Frank Grønbæk and Product Specialist for Field Recording and Broadcast, Allan Holmberg, will boost sales across the market sectors addressed by Pyramix, Ovation, Aneman and the Networked Audio Interfaces, Horus and Hapi.

In the wake of significant changes to Merging’s distribution partners in Finland, the appointment of AV Marketing sees Jyrki Mäkinen supporting the brand with a much-improved infrastructure compared with the previous situation. AV Marketing is actively improving its pro audio portfolio, and Merging’s appointment is a major stepping stone to achieving that goal.

‘These two appointments are symptomatic of the changes we see in the market we serve,’ says Merging’s Sales & Marketing Manager, Chris Hollebone. ‘From time to time, we find that existing sales partners are out of step with new markets we are entering such as A/V. Distribution companies also change ownership and that can have a negative impact on sales. We are confident that these companies are operating successfully in our core sectors and will offer the support our customers need.’
