Audio-Technica has opened a sales support office in Dubai to increase the level of service provided to its distributors, integrators, consultants and corporate end-users across the Middle East.
Technical Product Manager Ahmad Abuzannad – who began his Audio-Technica career in the company’s EMEA applications and support team – heads the office staff. Central to his activity will be increased levels of product training and demos – of particular importance to customers in the conferencing market – in the Middle East and in conjunction with Audio-Technica distributors throughout the region. Abuzannad will also support customers with the complex wireless frequency planning required for large-scale projects. In addition, the new facility allows for extended sales support in conjunction with John Dodson, A-T’s longstanding local representative based in Dubai.
‘The Middle East is a key market for Audio-Technica, and it’s of vital importance that we’re able to deliver excellent customer service locally,’ says Audio-Technica Director of Sales & Marketing EMEA Professional Audio, Matthias Exner. ‘Initially the scope will focus on support for our professional product ranges – from live sound to installation solutions – and expand into support for Audio-Technica’s consumer product portfolio in time. The office is located at Dubai Airport Freezone Authority (DAFZA), ideally placed for business throughout the Middle East and well served by a world-class infrastructure.
