K-array UK distributor 2B Heard has named Professional Audio Ltd (PAL) as its official dealer for Ireland, improving access to the company’s range of installed, portable and touring sound systems.

‘Ireland is a key market for us and we’ve been eager to find the correct partner who shares our own commitment to technical expertise and after-sales care,’ says 2B Heard’s Dave Wooster. ‘Professional Audio Ltd is that company and we’re delighted to work alongside them as we bring K-array’s unique audio solutions to our Irish partners.’

Established in 1990, PAL has spent 27 years as a supplier within Ireland’s pro audio and MI communities. Based in Dublin, the company already holds a portfolio of global brands including Roland, Boss, Rycote, Konig & Meyer and Cordial Cable plus a wholesale agreement with Sennheiser.

K-array is described by PAL Business Development Manager Gareth McCarthy as ‘a great fit for our portfolio for two reasons – first, it is the perfect addition to our range of high-quality, professional brands, and second, it fits into our solution-based service, where we aim to be the go-to distributor in Ireland for customers looking for everything from a high-quality cable to a top-class sound system.

‘K-array has a strong role to play in Ireland, not least in the installed sound market, where we have a long history and strong reputation,’ he adds. ‘We will be working hard to bring K-array technology into auditoria, office buildings and government facilities – everywhere customers require an incredibly discreet audio installation with the power and finesse of much larger alternatives. We are also anticipating huge interest in the extremely versatile portable PA options, such as the Pinnacle KR402 and KR802, as customers start to look for alternatives to heavy and bulky traditional PA which are described as portable but are often anything but.’
