Industry veteran Bill Woods is moving on from XTA to take up the role of Business Development Manager at loudspeaker systems specialist, Funktion-One.
‘Bill’s vast experience of working with distributors and dealers worldwide makes him the ideal addition to our company,’ says Funktion-One’s Ann Andrews. ‘As our business expands we have found ourselves spread just a little too thin. We decided we needed to add another sales person. Bill has been a friend of Funktion-One for years so it made sense to talk to him’.
An industry stalwart, Woods has also spent time with TurboSound and Electro-Voice. ‘But it was with XTA that he really shone at his brightest,’ according to an XTA spokesperson. As well as international ambassador, Woods has been closely involved in a series of key product launches at XTA, as well as their sometimes offbeat introductions.
‘We are extremely pleased to be welcoming Bill to the Funktion One team,’ adds Sales Director, David Bruml. ‘We have been on the lookout for someone of his calibre and experience for some time now and we very much look forward to working together.’
