Signal management solution specialist Altinex has appointed Grant Cossey to the newly created position of Vice President, Sales.

Grant CosseyWith a background that includes more than 15 years in the audiovisual industry, including time with equipment manufacturers, dealers and integrators, Cossey is well positioned to oversee Altinex’ sales operations from the company’s corporate headquarters in California.

In his new role, Cossey’s responsibilities include spearheading the company’s sales operations objectives by contributing market and sales information to strategic initiatives and reviews. He is also responsible for completing action plans and implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards. Similarly, he is responsible for sales forecasting in order to meet the company’s sales objectives.

In addition to analysing market trends and guiding the company’s responses, Cossey will oversee the company’s annual and gross profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas, project anticipated sales volume and profit for new and existing lines, and monitor costs, competition, supply, and demand.

Cossey’s is well versed in the international and domestic markets, regional sales, sales management, team leadership, technical sales, plus key account and vertical market sales. Prior to his appointment with Altinex, he served as the National Sales Manager for Presentation Switchers, where he oversaw sales, dealer training initiatives, sales and marketing materials, and Internet-based training. He has also serverd as Senior Sales Manager for Southland Technology. In this capacity, he focused on A/V design and sales targeted toward Federal Government business. Additionally, he has held the positions of West Coast Business Unit Manager for Karcher Group, West Coast Regional Manager for Analog Way and Regional Manager for Anderson Audio Visual.
