BroaMan Route66 40/40BroaMan has extended its new Route66 family of broadcast routers with the launch of the Route66 40/40 – the latest evolution of the Route66 platform since it was invented as a custom solution for SVT, the Swedish National broadcaster five years ago.

Available in three versions, the latest Route66 series will provide single channel, non-blocking 40 x 40 router ports in three versions, all with directly accessible fibre SFP (Small Form Factor Pluggable) or SDI. Additionally each new Route66 features fibre ports which can be used to access built-in CWDM or DWDM multiplexers.

The Route66 40/40 was unveiled at IBC, where BroaMan MD Tine Helmle reported: ‘Many clients and distributors were talking about this product. They love the device – it was extremely well accepted and both distributors and resellers seemed highly impressed.’
