Plugin Alliance has announced fiedler audio’s stage, a plug-in processor for music and audio production controlling ambience through advanced spatial and stereo panning algorithms.
stage uses sophisticated stereo panning, delay lines, and phase modulation, stage smoothly to offer processing that would otherwise require multiple plug-ins and complex routing schemes to achieve. Its use eliminates the copying of tracks and setting of the Haas Effect delays, used to give a single audio image with a perceived spatial location or panning stereo tracks within a DAW while using another plug-in to control stereo width. By bringing these techniques under one virtual roof, stage streamlines stereo workflow with maximum flexibility and accuracy.
With a stylish GUI implementation and low CPU consumption, stage enables stereo imaging to be made more dramatic without sacrificing dynamic range, and individual tracks can be positioned with extreme precision.
