DAS Audio has released DASlink GM, an application for grouping systems of the same DAS Audio loudspeaker model and controlling their parameters simultaneously from a tablet or smartphone.

The app is compatible with Android and Apple OS, and creates and manages groups of Vantec and Altea 700 systems both in groups and individually. Not only can group parameters be modified individually, but also the app offers control of the gain of the cabinets within a group. Tapping on the screen accesses the parameters of the systems grouped by ‘zones’, to provide adjustment, and concurrent checking and monitoring the signal that reaches the systems in real time. The app allows to monitor the VU of each system, so verifying their performance is a straightforward step.

A further function of DASlink GM is its graphical content. From the home screen, users can access the Mute and Solo functions of each group without entering the parameters window. Additionally, it can identify the cabinets being adjusted thanks to a ‘blinking’ function – the cabinet logo uses a blinking light to help locating it within an array system, this way. Cabinets can be rearranged in the app as they are physically in the array.

The app is available via Apple Store and Google Play.
