Audio-Technica has released an improved version of its ATM350 clip-on cardioid condenser microphone. The ATM350a is also now supplied with a range of instrument mounting accessories for stage and studio applications.
Designed for use on snare drums, toms, strings, piano, brass and woodwind instruments, the ATM350a features an increased SPL handling over its predecessor – Increased by 10dB to 159dB for a wider range of dynamic sources.
An rugged drum mount provides greater robustness on the road, reduces vibration and minimises the chance of damage from misplaced stick hits. An all-new magnetic piano mount, upgraded universal clip mount (for tighter, more secure fit) and expandable woodwind mounting strap, as well as a flexible gooseneck arm, available in two lengths (which can be attached to any of the above mounting options), further extend the ATM350a’s usability.
