L-Acoustics has released a new GLL (generic loudspeaker library) for its WST systems, including Kiva, Arcs, Kudo and Kara. ‘We were the first to develop the previous version of GLL, Ease DLL, and we are thrilled to bring this new evolution to L-Acoustics system integrators around the word,’ says Cédric Montrézor, head of installation support at L-Acoustics. ‘This follows our overall installation development strategy which includes new installations ranges, namely our recently-introduced XTi series and forthcoming Karai and SB18i.’

The development provides complete compatibility between L-Acoustics’ Soundvision and AFMG’s Ease software applications for acoustic source data, as well as for audience area. The library provides true line source radiation patterns, and audience area data can be shared by both applications using import/export functions.

Developed for sound designers, Soundvision acoustic modelling software provides acoustic and mechanical simulation of WST line source systems and coaxial point-source technologies.
