RCF has added the TTS 18-A II and TTS15-A active subwoofers to its TT+ line of two-way loudspeaker systems.

The TTS 18-A II is a compact, high-output subwoofer module with an 18-inch driver and 1.4kW RMS class-D amplifier. Its assembly features lightweight a neodymium magnet inside-outside copper voice coil; silicone double spiders; water-resistant treated cone; and magnet assembly with minimum power compression. The amplifier section features 1.4kW RMS SMPS class-D Amplifier with DSP, onboard presets and RDNet networking capabilities.

The TTS15-A is a similar subwoofer using a 15-inch driver. It features low weight for easy handling, a weatherproof cabinet, a 1.1 kRMS SMPS class-D Amplifier with full DSP, onboard presets and RDNet network capabilities.

The amplifier integrates a low-noise 32 bit DSP circuit, controlled through the RCF RDNet network to handle soft clipping limiters, RMS limits, polarity, amplitude, timing and equalisation. All settings, monitoring and advanced features are available inside the integrated RDNet Networked Management software. The available encoder on the back adjusts volume, delay and presets.

RDNet is a proprietary protocol provides straightforward monitoring and intuitive control of the audio system down to every device/object. Each device has its DSP, giving the possibility to address specific presets or parameters change to single or groups of objects. A network user can change level, delay, EQs and other parameters, including advanced subwoofer configurations. Not only loudspeakers: it is possible to control routing and parameters of multiple RCF devices, like digital matrixes or amplifiers.
