Sennheiser TeamConnect promises ‘stress-free audio conferencing’ with an all-in-one audio meeting system that is designed for corporate and government facilities. Sennheiser has partnered with audio and video conferencing specialist ClearOne for the venture.

The system integrates speakers, mics, central control unit and connectivity management for standard meeting rooms of up to 16 users on site. TeamConnect comprises the Central Unit CU1 – which offers both LAN and WiFi connectivity options, SpeechLine microphones and active loudspeakers. The system comprises up to up eight Sennheiser SpeechLine microphones and tuning software.

‘TeamConnect represents a total system approach to audio conferencing where every component is designed to work with each other, letting users get on with business,’ says Wienand Mensendiek, Manager of Portfolio & Channel Development at Sennheiser. ‘TeamConnect makes it easy to link to networks and to connect business mobile devices in order to operate the system. An iOS app offers touchscreen control of web and audio conferences on iPad and iPhone, while a browser-based web app provides a similarly easy-to-use interface on other devices.
