RTS Intercom has released the RTS RVON+ card and PAP-5032 Program Assign Panel.
The RTS RVON+ card provides Voice over IP (VoIP) communications for all RTS Adam and Adam-M digital matrices, and is hot swappable, supports up to 32 bidirectional audio channels, data, and RTS Intelligent Trunking over IP. The RVON+ card also features reduced power consumption, while offering higher channel capacity.
RVON (RTS Voice Over Network) is a VoIP codec for RTS intercoms that allows sending and reception of keypanel audio and data over long distances using standard IP networks and Ethernet connections. There are no distance limitations – audio and data may be transmitted over the Internet from one end of the world to the other via three different audio codecs (G.711, G.722, G.729).
Further features include support for two SFP fiber connections and the option to use two virtual serial connections via an IP connection. Used with trunking, it can eliminate the need for multiple IP resources.
RVON+ can be configured via the IPedit software to set Ethernet auto-negotiation parameters in order to view multiple RVON devices simultaneously, and see all RVON devices independently of the frame in which they are located. If needed, the RVON+ card offers a software license expansion option from 16 to 32 channels.
The PAP-5032 Program Assign Panel combines the features of a programme assign panel, audio monitor, as well as a level control panel in one device.
The unit enables end-users to assign multiple programme sources in real time to more than 16 IFB destinations. The panel offers to up to 64 programme sources and 64 IFB destinations via standard EKP expansion panels on option. Real-time routing, audio monitoring and gain adjustment of program inputs or IFB outputs is possible at all times.
Its built-in Omneo IP technology enables the PAP-5032 Program Assign Panel to work with all Adam, Adam-M and Odin digital matrices. In addition to IP, it supports both legacy analogue and RVON audio connections.
