Enabling room combining, paging and distributed audio systems design, The Rane Corporation HAL1 is a DSP architecture system designed to guide users through complex room combining and paging set-up tasks.

The process eliminates the need for intricate matrix mixing or presets room combining and paging, with no virtual wiring needed to distribute pages and background music to multiple zones. It can be seamlessly interfaced to an application with a broad variety of peripheral devices including smart digital remotes, remote audio devices, portable and in-rack auto mixers, bus expansion devices, and an advanced paging station.

It is also fully compatible and easily integrated with existing Rane products, like gain-sharing auto mixers.

In addition, HAL and Halogen software check the status, location, Cat5 wiring integrity, and that audio is working in all peripheral devices, confirming that the system is properly connected.
